In this week’s episode of the Beacon Broadcast, we check in with four members of the Beacon staff about their perspectives on the eucalyptus tree that toppled near the Tommy Tar statue last Thursday amid high-intensity winds. Two students sustained minor cuts from a broken classroom window, but otherwise no one was hurt. School administration partnered with district officials and local authorities to remove the tree from campus, and efforts are now under way to ensure the safety of all NMUSD campuses.
